Boundless

What a challenge from going from "Family from the Back" to "Full Frontal"! To give my  brain a new learning experience, I combined my two favourite artistic expressions: painting local landscapes and ballet. The subject is a former Kelowna Ballet dancer, Cai Glover, leaping off Munson's Mountain in Penticton. He is pushing the boundaries of his own artistic endeavours and leaping out of the canvas.

The painting is oil on canvas 24 X 30. Framed and offered for $2000.

Wow, the painting is amazing. I find the leap to be so extraordinary in this scene as it explodes from the landscape; yet both the dancer and the scape --in their respective beauty-- are so serene. You've really captured a wonderful compliment between this animate dancer's leap and the inanimate "Lovers leap". He really explodes from the canvas.
